Reporting a bug (what helps most)

You don’t need to be technical. The goal is to help us see the problem through your eyes and, when possible, make it happen again on our side. The list below is a checklist—include what you know; skip what you don’t.

1. One topic per email

If you have two unrelated issues, send two emails (or clearly separate them with headings). That keeps threads easier to follow and less likely to miss something.

2. What you were doing

In plain language, say what you were trying to accomplish (for example: “Saving a deck,” “Searching for a card,” “Opening a deck I imported”).

3. What went wrong

Say what happened instead of what you expected—for example: “The app closed,” “The button didn’t respond,” “Numbers look wrong on the deck list.” If something used to work and stopped, mention that.

4. Steps to reproduce (when you can)

“Tap this, then that” style steps are ideal—even if there are only two or three. If the issue only happens after a specific deck, screen, or filter, say so. If it’s random, say “it doesn’t happen every time” and describe any pattern you’ve noticed (after long use, only on Wi‑Fi, only right after install, etc.).

5. How often it happens

A quick note helps a lot—for example: every time, about half the time, or once so far.

6. Your device and system

Include:

7. App version

Include the Hyperrifter version from the app (usually under Settings, About, or similar). That tells us exactly which build you’re on.

8. Screenshots or screen recording (optional)

A screenshot or short screen recording can clarify UI issues in one glance. Before you attach anything, check the image for personal info you don’t want to share (messages, photos in the background, etc.).

9. Don’t send secrets

Never put passwords, payment card numbers, or sign-in codes in email. We will never ask you for your password.

Feature ideas and general feedback

We’re glad to hear what would make the app better for you—short notes are welcome, and longer write-ups are fine if that’s easier for you. We can’t promise every idea will ship, but we do log feedback and use it when planning updates.

A note on timing and fixes

Some bugs are quick to fix; others need more investigation or have to wait for a store update. We’ll be honest about what we can see from your report and what we might need next.

Thank you for taking the time to write in—it genuinely helps improve Hyperrifter for everyone.
